WOW!!!!

Okay so I really am horrible at posting on this thing! We are still here but I just don't get around to posting anything.
Well a lot has happened since that bread post. We actually have been able to be successful in making bread. We made a great batch last week! And we were really excited!
Just yesterday I went rock climbing with my friend from work and her husband. They are like professional rock climbers and I was pretty nervous because I have only done it maybe once and I have repelled! But repeling and rock climbing are completely different. I forgot to bring my camera to take pictures! It was really fun! I climbed in the same place twice! We are going to go again really soon! We went up Logan Canyon to one of the rock walls there! After we were done they said for your first time sometimes it is easier to go to a rock climbing gym because you know were to grab things and put your feet but on these rock walls out here you have to really think where to put your feet! So I guess I could say that I am professional now too! JK! We will take the camera next time and hopefully get some good shots!! I think that I could really get addicted to rock climbing! I just have to learn to be brave! Hopefully I won't go so long to post my next thing! And I will try to put pictures on it!

BREAD!!!

So Ryan and I got a new kitchen aid mixer from my parents for Christmas and they got it for us because we both love home made bread. My parents have been making bread for a really long time and I thought that I could make it just as good as them, because I used to make it when I lived at home and it always turned out right. Yeah well it is not that easy when you don't have your parents there helping you every step of the way.
I get so frustrated because I think that I am doing it right and that it will turn out how my dad's bread turns out but no it came out flat. HELP!!!! Dad what am I doing wrong???!! Yesterday Ryan and I ventured to make it again and I thought okay I can do this, and I let it raise for awhile and then cooked it. I only it had it in the oven for about 20 minutes and I opened it and it was flatter than flat. Ryan was trying to make me feel better and he said you could open your own shop and call it the square bread! Oh it is so FRUSTRATING!! Dad and Mom I need you two to come down here and help me out! I love homemade bread and want some that will look pretty!
I will post some pictures of my bread tomorrow just so you can see it! I will get it down maybe in twenty years or so!:)

Keeping Up!

Sometimes it is really hard for me to know what to write in our blog. So I guess I will just tell everyone what we have been up to for the past few weeks.
Right now Ryan and I are training for a half marathon and a full marathon. Ryan is running the full marathon and I am running the half on June 14 in Rexburg! I am excited for it but a little bit nervous at the same time. I have heard that this is a pretty tough one so hopefully we will both be okay!
Just last Saturday we ran our first race for this year! It was the Shamrock Shuffle that is a 5k run! I didn't do as well as I would have liked to do! Ryan won the race he ran it in 17:59! He is an amazing runner! He got a gift certificate to Al's Sports store here in Logan and I won some socks! Yeah! We did it with a couple of our friends Dan and Staci, and they won a cooler and a free movie rental. So that was fun that we all won something!
We have another 5k on March 29! It is fun because here in Logan there is always a race every month! We are going to try and do as many as we can!
Ryan has really got me addicted to running! It really does make you feel good when you can just go outside and run!

MORE PICS!

So I was finally able to post the rest of the pictures from Mesa Falls. Now you can see the beauty of the falls. They were incredible. It was a little bit scary when we got to the upper falls because the snow was so hight that the railing that usually protects you was covered in snow so you were on top of the railing and it was really slippery so you had to be really careful. But I was glad that we finally made it there to see the amazing scenery! I really did have a good time I just wanted to complain to Ryan!

Mesa Falls

Okay so Ryan and I went Cross Country Skiing again last weekend. We went up to Idaho with Karina and we had a crazy idea of going xc skiing to Mesa Falls. It is in Ashton. So we rented our skiis again and off we went! It is kind of a funny story because when Ryan was telling me about it he said that he just remembered it being only 3 miles round trip. So we woke up on Saturday and ate some breakfast and took off. We didn't take any food with us because we thought that it would be a quick trip, we did take some water though so that was a good thing. Well we got there and started off on our trip. Well we got to the first falls and I thought that that was it and Ryan told me well we have another 3 miles to go. We had already gone 1.5 miles. Well I threw a fit I guess you could call it. But I didn't want to go all this way and not make it to the destination Ryan wanted to show me. So we went the whole way! About a mile of the trip was down hill so we were down hill skiing for that part, but you have to remember on our way back we had to ski up hill, yeah that wasn't too much fun! But the view was amazing!! We have pictures of that but for some reason I couldn't get them to post. I don't know why. But the funny part of this was that Ryan told me that it was only 3 miles round trip and it was really 8 miles!! But it was fun and it was fun to be with Ryan for the whole day!! I loved that part! (Even though I was complaining because I was cold and hungry)! But I still do love cross country skiing! It is a good sport to do in the winter to get you outside! Everyone should at least give it a try! It can be really relaxing!!

XC SKIING!!!

So we decided to try out cross country skiing!! This was my first time doing, Ryan has done it before and he has been trying to talk me into it for a long time. Finally I agreed to try. Now I am addicted to it. I love it. There are some fun trails here in Logan that we have found.
First we went to Sherwood Hills up Sardine Canyon. They were suppose to have groomed XC Skiing trails but they weren't. We made out own trails. I really liked it. The snow was so deep.
It was a great workout. I thought that I would be really cold but instead I was really hot!
Karina came with us too. It was her first time trying it out. It was so funny because her and I kept falling down. Ryan had to help us out a few times. But we all had a good laugh each time we fell.
For anyone who wants to try cross country skiing I recommend it to anyone who wants to try it. It is fun because it gets you outside in the winter time. Especially when you feel like you are always stuck inside! We had a great time. I will have to figure out how to post a video of Karina and I going down hill after we skied up the hill! It is pretty funny!

WARM WEATHER!

I was going through some pictures on my computer and I came across these ones of the summer time! I can't wait for warm weather. This morning when I was driving to work it was
-9 degrees outside! I couldn't believe it. I want it to be warm weather so we can wear our shorts and flip flops again! I probably will complain when it is too hot! But I want summer to come soon! I miss all of the colors and fun things you can do outside! Last night we walked to our friends house and by the time we were going home it was 5 degrees outside. They decided to drive us home because it was so cold. When we went to get in their car the car doors were almost frozen shut! I couldn't believe it! Well I just had to complain a little bit because it is so cold today!
